Amazing boots!
I first have to thank Bates for their line up of amazing boots. I currently own 6 pairs of Bates boots and I am very satisfied with all of them.
This boot in particular works best for my job. Standing on my feet all day and never having to wonder when my feet will start to hurt. They are not going to hurt. They are simply amazing.

Bates Delta-6 Tan Desert Boot
Perfect for me! Fully sized as advertised, and comfortable. No real break-in time. I have been looking for a hiking boot (tried several other brands) that I can wear all the time for casual wear. My feet need special inserts, and they fit in these boots just fine. I can wear the boots all day, every day, without my feet hurting at all. The only other boot that works for me is Bates Delta full boot. I cannot wear any other mfg shoe or boot all the time without my feet hurting. The price is also very reasonable for Bates boots. Highly recommend this boot.

Nice boots
I have been looking for wide shoes for my wide foot for hiking and trekking and I found bates offers footwears with ew (extra wide) width. I bought these boots and I felt it just like designed for me at the moment I put it on. I wore it for a 40 km hiking yesterday and it works fine. ICS really gives a nice support with correct setting and this kind of Vibram outsole which is usually seen on Merrell is really good. I didn't order a waterproof version because I thought I won't wear a pair of desert boots in rainny days, and I heard about the wolverine warrior leather should be waterproof but I haven't test it yet.
