I haven't used this product yet, but, as soon as I put the shoe on, It felt good. I'm on my feet all day 5 days a week I don't have an office and we have no chairs to sit on. I only expect these shoes to last 6 months a year max. I'll stay in touch.

I've had my shoes for about 3 years, but in my job I've only worn them about a dozen times before this week, when I've been wearing them everyday. Both heels are delaminating and shedding chunks of black foam everywhere I walk. The uppers look new....in fact I consider these new shoes because they have such little use, and they're falling apart! These shoes are junk.
Why doesn't bates offer this shoe with a leather sole? I have a pair of black shoes with leather soles that are 10+ years old and still look great.

Crap soles
This is by far the most atrocious pair of shoes i ever bought from this company. The feel and the looks of the brown leather uppers are very nice and would take a shine like no other. The soles however are pure trash, and the heels fell apart four hours after wearing them. I have never had this happen to a pair of shoes ever, and even though i was able to get a refund back from the place i bought them from, i am stuck the heartbreaking decision of throwing them away with perfectly good leather uppers that look like they would last a long time, or perhaps my shoe cobbler can resurrect the things with leather soles and rubber heels.
Bottom line, if i wanted to get cheap crap, i would have bought shoes from payless or someplace like that, but to buy a shoe that is retailed for well over 114.00 is the most lame excuse ever for shoes that are made in the USA. The bates you offer in the harder rubber soled material is far better than this nasty stuff you offer here. I would never buy this again at any price ever, you have fallen off the wagon with this model and i am sure i am not alone based on the various other reviews on here.
