These are the most comfortable boots that I have worn in a long time they were well worth the money

Proud Owner of Bates M-9 Boots
I've worn my fair share of boots over the years serving in the Army and I've worn out several pairs, too. The Bates M-9 boots win the best-in-class award by me for comfort and traction. They also win the award for best stealth capabilities with very little sound when striking the ground even at a normal walking pace. Durability is still being tested, but I don't have any complaints yet - not even a little one.
My wife, who has never worn any type of "combat boot," also got a pair of these and she thinks they\'re pretty fantastic too. I'm happily surprised that she likes them so much.
In the past month, we've worn the M-9's several times a week, backpacking over rocks, sand, woods, water, and paved surfaces. Not a single blister to report!
I highly recommend these boots to any outdoor enthusiast and to our currently serving military. Take care of your feet and they'll get you where you're going. The M-9's make that a little easier.
