Awesome boot.
These have been my go-to boots for about 5 years now. Wore them while I was deployed in Iraq as a machine gunner, wore them when I was doing UDA/drug interdiction stateside as a MP, and now wear them for desert civillian SAR, including ground search, ATV search, and technical (rope) rescue, including cave and mine rescue.
My second pair is wearing out pretty bad, and I am looking to replace them. LOTS of miles on these boots. I'll be ordering a third pair soon, as my soles are just about worn out. I've compared all the new "tier-1" boots people rave about, but I think I like my Bates best.

AWESOME BOOTS!
I have these boots in black and given them heavy use for over three years and they are just now starting to give out on me, the sole is starting to seperate, but even after all this time and use they are still comfortable and i can easily wear them all day long without fatigue. completely recommend and will be buying again!

I bought these boots for my son. He is a cadet at Va Tech and is AROTC. He loves the boots. They fit well and delivery was quick. He was issued boots 2 sizes too large and he didn't want to tear his feet up, so the delivery direct to school was great for him, thanks.
