very good shoes
I wear them for military parades and they are very comfortable.

I was issued a pair of these seven years ago and I was very reluctant to wear them. Yet after wearing them with my uniform and with my work uniform. I love the way they look. Now I'll admit they are not the most comfortable pair of shoes I own. I've walked over 100 miles in them (no exaggeration), broken them in and it's got it's share of battle scars.. Mainly from people dropping their m1s on them. (Those people will remain nameless.) They are a good and long lasting shoe that I would recommend to anyone I know. Unfortunately I've gotten to the point where I've outgrown my old pair and I'm not looking forward to the price tag. Yet I'll be glad to get another pair. My only complaint on them is the price... but when you think about it, I got more than my money's worth out of those shoes.

Wonderful Shoe
I have two pairs of this particular style of shoe. I have worn them for almost ten years on a weekly basis. They are still in wonderful condition. The shine is still in above par condition. Not perfect considering years of use. Still unless you look at the inside of my heels you would never know that the shine has faded at all.
The only downside to this shoe for me is the heel. For some reason it feels harder then what I expected it to be, there is not much of a cushion on the inside. If this is the only complaint anyone would have about a pair of shoes, they can't be too bad.
