Do not ware in the rain. The boot is so light. You can see through the material. But it is a solid boot and very lightweight. I ware a size 14. My wife pick up the boot at the door and couldn't believe that my boot was in the box. I love these boots so much. I went back and order all the colors of the same boot. Great job Bates

First pair of Bates that I have owned. By far lighter and cooler than any other brand that I have purchased. Only time will tell on their durability and longevity. I wear a size 14 and they are a smidge smaller than expected. Overall extremely comfortable and offer great ankle support. Highly recommended.
